A message by the EANS President Andreas Demetriades

Dear friends and colleagues,

As we enter February, the EANS invites you to join our many and diverse activities. The call for abstracts for our EANS2023 Barcelona Congress is open, and the deadline is at the end of February. You are encouraged to submit your work and join us in Barcelona for a truly unforgettable Congress.

Our webinar series is ever active, providing free education to specialist and trainee neurosurgeons all over the world, and at no cost irrespective of membership status. We are proud of this initiative, and we are committed to providing educational opportunities to the global neurosurgical community.

As part of our inter-society collaboration, the EANS and Eurospine are jointly hosting our first Spring Summit Meeting. This will be a two day event (31st March and 1st April 2023) in Budapest, on the challenging topics of Spinal Tumours and Infections. We hope that you can join and participate in the exchange of knowledge and experience.

Membership of the EANS comes with some very important benefits, one of which is access to our online Academy. Hundreds of hours of scientific lectures are stored within the EANS Academy, and are accessible to the Individual Members of our organisation. The recordings of our 2022 Belgrade Congress are also now available. You and your colleagues can always become a member of the EANS and get access to this, and many more benefits.

I invite you to browse through the topics of our February newsletter and be informed about our numerous activities.

Kind regards,
Andreas Demetriades
EANS President
