The reception department is an independent structural subdivision of the hospital, the main purpose of which is registration, reception, initial examination, preparation of medical documentation, sanitary and hygienic treatment of patients and provision of qualified (emergency) medical care.

The reception department with an isolation unit is open 24 hours a day. Qualified medical specialists work in the department.
