On 26 June 2026, during the meeting of the Academic Council of the State Institution Romodanov Neurosurgery Institute of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, the members of the Council unanimously supported, by secret ballot, the nomination of Professor Mykhailo V. Khyzhniak, MD, DSc, Director of the Institute, for election as a Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.

We sincerely congratulate Professor Mykhailo V. Khyzhniak on receiving the unanimous support of the members of the Academic Council!

During the same meeting, the Academic Council of the State Institution Romodanov Neurosurgery Institute of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine also resolved, by secret ballot, to confer the academic title of Senior Researcher upon Oleksandr M. Lisianyi, MD, DSc, Senior Research Fellow of the Department of Neuro-Oncology and Pediatric Neurosurgery.
