On June 3, 2026, a regular meeting of the Bureau of the Presidium of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine was held, during which a number of important issues related to the Academy’s activities were considered and relevant decisions were adopted.

During the meeting, it was approved to appoint Vira Anatoliivna Vasiuta as Deputy Director for Research and Ihor Yosypovych Bahinskyi as Deputy Director for General Affairs of the State Institution “Romodanov Neurosurgery Institute of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.” A new composition of the Institute’s Academic Council, which includes leading scientists of the institution, was also approved.
