On April 24, 2026, elections for the new composition of the Academic Council were held in the conference hall of the State Institution “Romodanov Neurosurgery Institute of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.”

Professor Mykhailo Vitaliiovych Khyzhniak, Director of the State Institution “Romodanov Neurosurgery Institute of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine,” Doctor of Medical Sciences, Honored Doctor of Ukraine, was unanimously elected Chair of the Academic Council.

Academician of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine, Professor Yevhenii Heorhiiovych Pedachenko was elected Deputy Chair.

Nataliia Hryhoriivna Chopyk, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Senior Researcher, was elected Academic Secretary.
