By the decision of the Academic Council of the Romodanov Neurosurgery Institute dated 09/26/2025 (protocol No. 17), the academic title “Honorary Professor” was awarded to Dr. Nikolai Raynov.
Dr. Nikolai Raynov is a well-known European neurosurgeon, scientist and specialist with international experience in the field of neurooncology and functional neurosurgery. Doctor of Medical Sciences Nikolai Raynov is a neurosurgeon with an international career (Germany, Bulgaria, Switzerland), a strong scientist (multiple publications, monographs), as well as a consultant in leading centers.
Dr. Raynov has maintained professional ties with the Ukrainian neurosurgical school for many years, participates in scientific events and educational initiatives to improve the skills of specialists. The awarding of the honorary title is a recognition of his contribution to the development of neurosurgery and support for Ukraine.

– Dr. Nikolai Raynov is a neurosurgeon, MD, DSc.
– He works at the MVZ Wirbelsäulenzentrum München-Taufkirchen (Germany) and has clinical ties with the ISAR-Klinikum (Munich).
– He was previously a chief neurosurgeon, including working at the Augsburg Clinic.
– He is a consultant at the Heart & Brain Center of Clinical Excellence (Pleven, Bulgaria).
