The clinical diagnostic laboratory was created in 1954. Its heads were A.I. Klymakova (1954-1956), N.I. Sklyarenko (1956-2007).

• urine research according to Zimnytskyi
• determining indicators of the hemostasis system (coagulogram)
• general analysis of cerebrospinal fluid
• determination of blood group and Rhesus factor
• rapid tests for detection of hepatitis B (HBsAg), HIV type I and II, hepatitis C, syphilis
• examination of fluids from serous cavities
• fecal examination for occult blood
